The Bonuderm Story
I made this for my own skin.
Now I make it for yours.
Every Bonuderm product started as a personal solution — three ingredients, no fragrance, no dyes. What happened next changed how I see the entire industry.

Where It Started
In 2018, my skin hit a breaking point.
I was developing rashes on my scalp and forehead that wouldn't calm down. The only things that helped were medicated shampoos and cleansers — but they contained fragrance and alcohol, and they never felt right on my hair and skin. They worked enough to keep me going, but I didn't want to use them forever.
So I started asking questions I'd never thought to ask before: What is actually in these products? Why does my skin keep reacting? And why is every "sensitive skin" formula still irritating me?
I didn't find the answers on the front of a bottle. I found them on the back.
"The problem wasn't my skin. The problem was what I'd been putting on it."

The First Soap
Three ingredients.
Nothing else.
I mixed my first soap myself: coconut oil, almond oil, shea butter. No fragrance. No dyes. No fillers. My skin responded immediately — day one.
Day one is rare. Most brands promise gradual improvement over weeks. That immediate response told me something important: this wasn't about finding a better product. It was about removing the wrong ones.
I kept going. I needed to understand why.
The Discovery
I started reading labels.
What I found shocked me.
Once I solved my own skin problem, I couldn't stop comparing — reading ingredient lists on the products I'd been using for years. Including the ones marketed specifically for sensitive skin.
The word "fragrance" on an ingredient list is not an ingredient. It's a legal placeholder that can hide hundreds of individual chemical compounds — none of which companies are required to disclose under US law.
One word. Endless unknowns.
Then I looked at color. Brightly colored soaps are designed for a retail shelf, not for your skin. Synthetic dyes that do nothing for skin health — just aesthetics for a store environment.
These two discoveries became Bonuderm's permanent non-negotiables: no synthetic fragrance, ever. No artificial dyes, ever. Every ingredient on our labels does exactly what it says it does.
"Every ingredient on our label is exactly what it says it is, doing exactly what it's supposed to do. Nothing more. Nothing hidden."

The First Proof
One bar. Two opposite skin types. Zero reactions.
My first real customer had dry skin. Her husband had oily skin. They each had separate products — different brands, multiple bottles. Both of them were reacting.
She found Bonuderm and bought a dozen bars. Their reactions started calming down. Then they were gone. One bar replaced both routines, for both skin types, head to toe.
Then they started sending variety packs to their friends dealing with sensitivity issues.
That was the moment I knew this was something real.
Dry skin + oily skin — same bar, same results

From Ceci
I use every product I make.
Every single day.
I have no skin reactions now — because of these products. That's not a marketing line. That's just true.
I make every Bonuderm product by hand, in small batches, here in Texas. I'm a Latina woman, Austin city certified as a woman-owned business. The maker is also the most reactive customer — and the most satisfied one.
Bonuderm exists for anyone whose skin has been reacting to products that were supposed to help. You deserve to know exactly what's on the label — and exactly what it means.
